      <p>I found out that Henry James and Joseph Conrad were peers and friends. I liked <em>Heart of Darkness</em> much more than <em>The Turn of the Screw</em> and found the writing so much easier to read. It’s pretty wild how the same time period can turn out two writers with such different styles. 📚</p>

The narration has this quirky too-clever omniscient quality that just irks me. And the way the characters talk is just not how computer science majors talk to each other.</p>
